Dossier Update & the Invasion.......

Susan & William's dossier is in Ethiopia! Their dossier is making its way to the FedEx store for our in country rep to pick up. When he arrives, there will be 7 dossiers (including ours) waiting for him!

Other news, not adoption related... The invasion......
When we moved to the south last year we noticed that EVERYONE in our neighborhood had a pest company visit every so often. We quickly learned there are all sorts of big bugs that love the comfort of indoor living! Soon, we too had an annual pest contract. The other day I was filing paperwork and came across our pest contract. I noticed that it included rodent service. I laughed, why would we need coverage for rodents?? I hadn't asked for the service when we signed up. I didn't think too much about it and kept filing.

Today, I pulled out the phone book and to my horror, I saw mouse droppings in the drawer! YIKES! Of course, Igor wanted to check it out. I called the pest company to say we had mice. The lady on the other end of the phone said, "It is that time of year." What? Evidently, in October mice like to come indoors. Heavy sigh. I am looking forward to Tim, our pest guy, stopping by soon.

Gross! I hate mice. The other day I was working late and thought I heard a mouse in the kitchen. I totally put my feet up. I'm not even usually like that, it's funny the reaction something so small can cause.

Two more things: thanks so much for your encouragement about Karl's test resuts. There's been a change, though. Go see--I don't want to write the whole thing out!

Also, I realized today that National Adoption Day is Nov. 15. Since you're the ring leader on our prayer calender, I thought it might be really cool to extend things another week or so and then, perhaps, culminate with a prayer/fasting/celebration day on the 15th. Just a thought--what do you think?

Ohhh! Sorry to hear about the mice! We've got the BIG BUGS! Do you have lots of trees in your neighborhood too?

My sister husband has caught 7 mice in the past 2 or so weeks! They were having a real party at her house!

We've had mice here a couple of times too. William throws the whole trap away and gets a new one instead of emptying and re-setting it! LOL!
